Newgrange FarmNewgrange, Slane, Co. MeathNewgrange Farm is a 333 acre farm situated in the beautiful and historic Boyne Valley and surrounds the famous National Monument of Newgrange. This is a genuine family owned and run working farm / educational facility, where adults and children can try the "hands on" experience of bottle feeding, feeding, holding, petting, and seeing all the usual farm animals and poultry, and much, much more.
Farmer Bill
On Sundays and Bank Holiday afternoons come and watch, and maybe become part owner of one of the sheep, in the Newgrange Farm Stakes Sheep Race. Great fun for everyone. There are also displays and demonstrations to see. For booked groups and when there are sufficient numbers requiring it and farm work allows it a tractor trailer ride farm tour is available, down through the farm crops and livestock to the River Boyne and National Monuments. When you have worked up a good appetite, come and eat traditional home cooked food in The Old Byre Coffee Shop or relax in one of our outdoor or indoor picnic areas. The gift shop has an array of toys and gifts to remind you of your memorable day out.
Birthday Parties
You can now have your birthday party on the farm. Cakes, buns, sweets and prizes are all available for your party.
All Birthday Parties Must Be Pre-Booked.

Easter Saturday to 31 August: Daily 10.00 to 17.00.
Admission Price
€8.00 per person, family of 2 €12.00, family of 3 €18.00, family of 4 €24.00, family of 5 €30.00.
Special event days: €8.00 per person, no family tickets on special event days.
Directions
Take the M1 to the Slane exit and then the N51 towards Slane for approx 4.5 miles or
Take the N2 or N51 to Slane or the N1 to Drogheda.
Then the Slane - Drogheda section of the N51 approx 3 miles from Slane or 5.5 miles from Drogheda.
Newgrange Farm is well signposted off the N51. Do NOT follow the Newgrange Bru na Boinne signs, only follow the Newgrange Farm signs.
