Easter Activities at Lough Key
Fun for all the family! Can you crack our Easter Trail? Join us at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park on Saturday 30 March 2013 anytime between 12pm – 5pm.
Follow the Easter Trail through the Woodland to discover natural treasures and the first signs of Spring. Then use your imagination to design and decorate a crafty Easter memento to take home.
Suitable for children aged 4 -10 years old with adult supervision. This is an outdoor activity so please dress appropriately.
Boda Borg:
We are delighted to announce the opening of two new Quests which means seven new challenges at Boda Borg!! Our new quests are called ‘Pirates’ and ‘Rats’.
These new quests are an upgrade and now incorporate sound and light into the experience which adds a great dimension to Boda Borg Questing….
So get over here and take the challenge!!
The Adventure Play Kingdom - A purpose built outdoor childrens play area, fully enclosed with impact absorbing floor coverings under all play equipment.
Boda Borg - A Swedish concept of puzzle rooms through which you must progress using different skills, teamwork, ingenuity, trial and error. The Boda Borg is suitable for children over 7 years and adults.
The Lough Key Experience - A self guided audio tour through the original service tunnels to the top of the Moylurg viewing tower and over the Tree Canopy Walk. It is suitable for all ages and is fully wheelchair accessible.

01 March to 30 June: Daily, 10.00 to 18.00
01 July to 31 August: Monday to Friday, 10.00 to 18.00, Saturday and Sunday 10.00 to 20.00
01 September to 31 October: Daily, 10.00 to 18.00.
01 November to 28 February: Wednesday to Sunday, 10.00 to 16.00 (Excl. 24, 25, 26 and 31 December plus 01 January)

We(2 adults, 1 child(9yrs))recently spent the day at Lough Key and had a great, fun-filled day. The Borda Borg experience is fabulous fun but does require patience!We enjoyed the tree canopy walk and the tour beforehand. Our little girl loved the play area afterwards. We didnt have time to do a boat trip, so we will be returning. Thanks Lough Key for a great day out.
