Red Mountain Open Farm is a family run mixed farm with tillage, horses, sheep etc. The farm is set in open countryside just five minutes off the M1 exit 9 at Drogheda.

Birthday Parties

A unique and exciting way to spend your birthday is at Red Mountain Open Farm. We take pride in providing children and adults with a quality celebration to remember. Your guests will meet farm animals, take a ride on our blue barrel express and explore the fun of the farm.

The farm has lots of different animals, some of which you can feed. Visit our play areas, especially the popular bale maze, small animal enclosure and picnic areas. Tractor and Trailer rides and Pony & Trap rides available certain days throughout the school holidays and weekends.

School Tours

We are taking bookings for the School Tour season from now until the end of June. Be sure to book early to ensure you get the day that suits your school. Please look at our website for details.

Train and Carriage Ride: €2.50 extra per person.

Exit the M1 at junction 9. Follow the signs for Newgrange through the village of Donore. After Newgrange take the first left turn (at the railings on the right), and then take the first right.
