The FunDays.ie Rovers visited the Secret Valley Adventure Farm today and on leaving all we could say was a Collective WOW! We began the day meeting with Ann,Lisa and the Team in the Indoor Area where we met some lovely fluffy bunnies, Reptiles and even a Cockroach!!. Then the boys were asked to feed some of the new born goats with a bottle which the REALLY enjoyed. Its all so hands on yet relaxed. Next we went to see some of the many animals living on the farm - from Animals you would expect, to those you might not. The best thing we felt about this visit was the Safety element - the Children had a brilliant time but we as parents felt at no time were they anything but safe. The staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Aside from the Animals - we also played Football, Crazy Golf, did a Treasure Hunt - looking for "Chicken Licken" the Easter Mystery hunt (which was simply hillarious - and showed the true character of the staff). We also played basketball played in the Indoor and the many outdoor playing areas. The boys even took a ride on Snowball the Pony and enjoyed a Quad Bike Barrel Ride - a must for all when you visit. The Farm really gives you a feel for living on a real working farm. Everyone gets a true understanding of the work involved and yet provides for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The litmus test for us is always to ask the Children what they thought and their answer echoed our feelings - "When will we be back!!! See you again soon Secret Valley Farm - and THANKS for a brilliant FunDay.
