The Gaiety School of Acting - The National Theatre School of Ireland offers the most comprehensive acting courses available to young actors in Ireland. Our Young Gaiety Saturday School’s operate around the country in Temple Bar, Bray, Malahide, Navan and Cork. The year long programme consists of 3 ten week terms. The structure of the course is both flexible and comprehensive, allowing students to participate in anything from a 10 week course to a three year cycle. Within each age group, you can choose between the Drama Workshop and Performance Workshop. In Temple Bar we also offer a Parent & Toddler Drama Group, Glee Musical Theatre and The Young Performers Company for teenagers.

Classes take place on Saturdays and cost from €100 - €220 depending on the class and age. There are classes suitable for all ages from 18 months to 18 year!

Lights. Camera. Action. Over the Easter holidays, why not join the experts in Dublin or Cork as they will help you write, act, light and do the sound in your very own movie. We then send the footage to be professionally edited and you will receive a copy of your movie on DVD.

Participants of the Make A Movie course can expect to:

 -Gain confidence in front of camera

-Expand their own creativity in creating the movie

-Learn about Storyboarding and screen writing

-Discover the importance of Cinematography

-Practice their performance and microphone technique in front of camera
