Donkey Sanctuary

The Donkey Sanctuary has taken in about 2400 donkeys rescued from all parts of Ireland. Many have been abandoned or put in a field and given little or no attention after having worked for their owners for years, hauling peat or pulling a cart. St. Finbarrs Cathedral

Bishop Street, Cork
Built in 1865, the cathedral remains one of Corks most famed landmarks. The cathedral is based on the William Burges French gothic style design. Burges gave the cathedral a Resurrection Angel, made of copper and gold leaf as a gift and it is located on the pinnacle of the sanctuary.
