Take a trip to the Model Railway Village for a fun and memorable day out on your visit to Clonakilty and West Cork. Walking into the model village you step back in time and see life as it was in the 1940s. See the old West Cork railway line portrayed in delightful miniature serving the towns.
Our Indoor Interpretive Centre brings the history and heritage of West Cork to life with our detailed displays on life as it was for the people who lived and worked along the West Cork Railway Line. A wonderfully nostalgic experience for all and the perfect way to round off your tour of the Model Village.
Depicting busy market days, this is a joyful discovery for young and old alike. Relax in our unique tea room set on one of our authentic train carriages with a view of Clonakilty bay.
Admission Prices:
Adult €8.00 or €12.00 with Road Train, Child €4.25or €6.25 with Road Train, Family €22.50 and €33.50 with Road Train.

We have been at the Model Railway Village a few times. It is a lovely few hours out. The children loved it and we loved learning a little about all the areas they have displayed. Most enjoyable part for the kids was the train going up around the time and how so many people waved back! Our son loved it and wanted to go again. Highly recommend it as a family trip!
