Journey through the forest and above the canopy of the trees, experience this unique 1.4km Treetop Walk in Avondale Forest Park.

The Treetop Walk culminates at the spectacular Viewing Tower, 38m above the forest floor with panoramic 360° views of the Wicklow Mountains, the Vale of Avoca, and the Avonmore River. To complete this innovative experience, whizz back down the tower via the gigantic 90m spiral slide (slide optional).

At Home with the Parnell's Guided tour launches in the Autumn and features a newly imagined guided tour of the historic 18th Century Avondale House that celebrates the heritage of the Parnell family. Hear all about the life and times of Charles Stewart Parnell, and the formidable women in his family.

Enjoy a taste of Wicklow at the contemporary Seed Café, where our culinary team designs seasonally inspired menus from local produce. The view from the Seed Café extends out onto the picturesque Walled Garden. From here, experience the adventurous children's playground, and the stimulating sensory garden in the courtyard and discover an abundance of forest walking trails. The Seed Cafe has a reserved area to accommodate pre-booked groups.

Enjoy a complimentary self-guided visit to the Coillte Pavilion where visitors will learn all about the evolution of forestry in Ireland along with Coillte's work throughout the past, the present, and the plans for the future.

Visitors will also explore the themes of forestry for climate, for nature, for wood, and for people and how the sector can contribute to our sustainable future and climate action.
