At the Dingle Skellig Hotel younger guests are very important with a number of facilities specifically for their needs –
They offer interconnecting guest rooms and travel cots for younger children as well as the option of suites with pull out beds. They also provide an extensive DVD collection, travel cots, camp beds and fridges on request.
The children’s rates include the options of bed and breakfast only or also the inclusion of their junior evening meal which is served at the earlier time of 5.30pm each evening. The evening Kids Club starts from 6.30pm daily which allows parents and carers the evening free to enjoy a meal or time to themselves. Children under 3 share free with 2 adults and all of the children’s rates also includes free access to the Kids club (age 4+) which is available from 9.30am to 12.45pm and 6.30pm to 10.00pm daily during school holidays. Activities include Bouncing Castle time, Pass the Parcel, Treasure Hunts, Cooking time with Head Chef John and Disco Time.
Facilities also include the Skellig Crèche which is available to book for children from 4 months to 4 years of age and is a member of the N.C.N.A, the national children’s nurseries association. The crèche is open at similar times to the Kids club and is bookable and charged at an hourly rate. They also have a utilities room available 24 hours offering a baby changing area and a kitchenette including a microwave, steriliser, kettle, washing machine and dryer.
For fun family time together, all the family have access to the Leisure Club including our 17 meter pool, kids pool and exercise facilities.
