The hotel itself is the perfect location for your family break with a large selection of facilities for families.

Guests at the hotel will enjoy a selection of guest rooms including 32 newly built deluxe rooms and suites including family rooms and also interconnecting guest rooms and travel cots for younger children as well as the option of suites with pull out beds.

They also provide an extensive DVD collection, travel cots, camp beds, and fridges on request.

The children’s rates include the options of bed and breakfast only or also the inclusion of their junior evening meal which is served at the earlier time of 5.30pm each evening.

The fully supervised Fungi Kids Club and Skellig Crèche run both morning and evening sessions and are open at weekends and daily during school holidays. Children under 3 share free with 2 adults and all of the children’s rates also include free access to the Kids Club (age 4+) which is available from 9.30am to 12.45pm and 6.30pm to 10.00pm daily during school holidays and at weekends. Activities include a fully scheduled daily programme of fun for ages 4 -12. 

Facilities also include the Skellig Crèche, which is available to book for children from 4 months to 4 years of age. The crèche is open at similar times to the Kids club and is bookable and charged at an hourly rate. They also have a utility room available 24 hours offering a baby changing area and a kitchenette including a microwave, steriliser, kettle, washing machine, and dryer.

For fun family time together, all the family has access to the Leisure Club including our 17-meter pool and kids pool. 

Their team offers families the greatest experience the peninsula has to offer, with a warm welcome and an introduction to all the hotel facilities available to them.

They are happy to help with planning activities such as a visit to the aquarium, boat tours, surfing, pitch and putt, and a whole array of other choices. 

Staff in the bar, brasserie, and restaurant are conscious of assisting parents and providing high chairs, coloring books, and crayons for mealtimes.
