dlr Mill Theatre Dundrum is a 205 seat modern theatre, located in the heart of Dundrum Town Centre - by the Mill Pond.

This threatre has staged a wide variety of performing arts, community theatre, visual art, comedy, music, and children's shows since opening in 2006.

This is the perfect location to introduce children to the arts!

  • The Crystal Cage 27th October – 1st November @ 2.30pm

    Disaster strikes the Kingdom of Enchantasia when all the rainbows disappear!!! The Leprechauns are deeply troubled as, without rainbows, they cannot locate their gold. The Great Wizard Strogroth is distressed when he hears this news. Not only will the Kingdom be in severe financial trouble but, without the rainbows, all the colour in the world will drain away - turning everything to BLACK! Can Strogroth and the Fairies of the Kingdom save the day and restore the rainbows to the skies?

  • Jackula Tuesday 30th October @ 7pm (80 minutes)

    Being a vampire sucks, but being Dracula’s younger brother is driving Jackula batty. Join Jackula on a spooktacular quest to step out of his older brother’s shadow and become the world’s first fun vampire. Laugh as Jackula makes his pet ghost dance. Gasp as Jackula balances five glasses of water on his face. Smile as children help him perform spellbinding tricks. An inspirational Halloween magic show about staying true to yourself.

    The show is performed by Jeff Keough who has entertained at The White House, Leinster House, and his daughter’s senior infant Class. Jackula has been recommended by the Irish Time’s. The Irish Independent said Jackula is “Family fun guaranteed.”

  • Donal Vaughan Science Magic Friday 15th November @ 10am and 12pm

    Prepare to enter the magical world of science. Forget Harry Potter, Donal is the real wizard. Join him as he does the impossible; skewer a balloon without popping it, set paper on fire without burning it, turn water upside-down without spilling it, move an object without touching it. And even conjure dragon’s breath! Always exciting, sometimes messy. Get excited about science, and laugh your pants off while you do. And the best part??? You can do all the tricks at home using everyday household items. You too can become a science wizard and amaze your family and friends.

  • Bosco’s 40th Anniversary Tour Sunday 25th November @ 2pm

    Bosco’s Garden And Cinderella 
    Paula Lambert has been Travelling the country for the last 40 years. In the early years with her father Eugene Lambert and many be Loved characters from RTE. 
    Bringing Puppet Theatre to the Children of Ireland for the first time.

    Bosco is Bosco, not a boy, not a girl, just a Bosco: a cheeky, lovely, funny, slightly-cracked, irrepressible, eternal five-year-old who lives in a box and who loves nothing more than to just be Bosco and meet all the boys and girls.

    Mill Productions return with another Christmas panto for all the family – following on from last year’s smash hit Aladdin. A tale as old as time, featuring a host of well-loved characters and lovable crockery! Beauty and the Beast tells the story of Belle and the dreaded Beast in his lonely castle. Belle is beautiful, the Beast is – ahem – beastly and Gaston is still totally in love, with himself! A story of friendship and love, mixing magic and adventure with spectacular song and dance routines and special effects to entertain all the family!

  • Tiny Tunes Sunday 14th October @ 11am and 12.30pm in the Studio 

    Actor/singer Susannah de Wrixon faces her toughest audience yet with her new show for pre-schoolers. Tiny Tunes is a musical and theatrical experience that is fun, friendly, interactive and most importantly not painful for adults to sit through! Susannah and her co-creator Derek Cremin will bring you through gorgeous songs that you can sing, clap  and dance along to, some familiar, some brand new. it would be a fantastic way to introduce kids to the world of theatre and performance. Tiny tunes, an early years cabaret was created with the support of the Ark.
