





Fota House and Gardens
CARRIGTOHILL, CO. CORKFota House is a fabulous regency-style great country house situated in East Cork.
It has been restored and conserved by the Irish Heritage Trust who shares the magnificent surroundings by way of public guided tours from April to September inclusive.
Visitors can discover fascinating insights into the contrasting lives of the masters of a former time and their servants in the original surroundings that shaped their worlds.
When exploring the House a visit to or guided tour of our award-winning Victorian Frameyard Garden is a must.
Fota House hosts a range of monthly cultural events, there is always something to do at Fota!
Our calendar of events includes seasonal offerings for families at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas, along with a host of exciting activities during the summer for National Heritage week, outdoor theatre and programmes in the Gardens.
The Cafe at Fota House enjoys a reputation for serving scrumptious home baking and delicious meals: these are served in the atmospheric Billiard Room.
During the summer, you can dine al fresco and enjoy the views over Fota’s parklands. The choice of food available is varied and dishes are prepared on a daily basis, often using organic produce from Fota’s kitchen garden. Our menu always includes vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.
