Celebrating 30 Years in Business this year, The Skellig Experience Visitor Centre is the perfect way to learn the incredible story of Skelligs.

Through our reconstructions, exhibits and ship-to-shore communication, our visitor centre allows you to immerse yourself in the magic and mystery of Skellig Michael. We also offer a Children's Quiz so they can engage and enjoy the experience too.             

Our Visitor Centre offers FREE PARKING on-site and we have a fully licensed restaurant that offers stunning views of the beautiful Portmagee Harbour. The restaurant boasts a spacious indoor and outdoor dining area to enjoy a relaxing meal or sit in the sun and enjoy the views with a cup of coffee! We also have a gift shop on site that offers a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs including clothing, ornaments, books, games, toys, and more!

During the Summer months, we offer boat tours out to Skellig Michael including our sea cruise around these breathtaking islands where you can enjoy the majestic views while remaining seated on the boat. We also offer the Skellig Michael Landing Tours where you can climb the 618 steps to the very top of Skellig Michael and explore the beehive huts that sit on the peak of this island.

• Closed December, January, and February
• March, April & October - 10am to 5pm, 5 days a week (last admission 4:15pm)
• May, June & September- 10am to 6pm, 7 days a week (last admission 5:15pm)
• July & August -10am to 7pm, 7 days a week (last admission 6:15pm)
