The Irish National Heritage Park

Take an incredible journey through 9,000 years of Ireland's past.

Stretches over 35 acres of woodland, wetland, estuary and uplands you will visit the homesteads, places of rituals and learn about the burial rituals of our long vanished ancestors.

The world you enter is an authentic recreation of Ireland’s heritage.

Take a guided tour of the park which caters for families, individuals or groups or explore the Park at your own pace.

Children activities include

  • Trials of Tuan
  • Activity Scramble
  • Archery (Seasonal)
  • Adventure Playground

Savour traditional home cooked meals, light bites, desserts and teas & coffees at our award winning Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant.

Family Fun

Scattered around the Park, the family will find a series of Have a go! interactive challenges.

The children will have to try and move a megalithic, carve some rock art, weave a wattle house and even pan for gold!

If the children complete the tasks and bring back a piece of gold to the reception desk, they will get a certificate of merit.

Adventure Playground
